Happy St Patrick’s Day! This morning, we all went to another doctor’s appointment for Baby Lucy and all is well! Then Dale went back to work for Pledge Drive where I joined him while Caedmon got to spend the afternoon with his buddy, Jack; I’m sure they had a blast!

Today is my niece’s first birthday…and it’s another reminder that I wish we were there for moments like these with our family…but I can still see adorable pictures of that precious little girl! My brother and sister-in-law are great parents and I wish we were together to raise our kids together, I know Caedmon loved hanging out with baby Ashlyn when we were in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving.
Today is Ash Wednesday. Our small group celebrated this first day of lent by attending an Ash Wednesday Mass. It was a traditional liturgical service and was very neat to be a part of. In honor of President’s Day this week and my husband’s love for Presidential history, I am making a meal plan for this week based on many of our Presidents’ favorite foods. I look forward to doing this each year and while my kids grow up, making it into a history lesson…yup, I’m one of those Moms!
