Finally! I feel normal again. It seems like a whirlwind for the last 2 months…being 9 months pregnant to having baby Lucy and bringing her home…traveling to Virginia to say goodbye to my mother-in-law…starting back to work…vacation at the coast…and being sick for a couple days…and then today. Tonight was Lucy’s first roadtrip…we went to Fresno with our life group to visit a friend in the hospital and for some ChickFilA. She did great on the way there, but we had two massive screaming fits on the way home and had to stop to feed her once, she’s such a drama queen when she’s hungry! Today was Serve Visalia, the annual Sunday where we don’t do church like a normal Sunday morning, instead we get together with other churches and go out into our community to make a difference. Dale joined our life group at Ivanhoe school to decorate for Star Testing Week like we did last year. We had small group tonight. Caedmon’s the only kid running around with all these adults who love him very much. He has a few buddies in the group. Tonight, he plopped down next to Brandon to watch the Francis Chan video with everyone. We feel so blessed here in Cali with the community we have around us; Caedmon has so many aunts and uncles here in Cali!
I love that Caedmon is so excited to go to church at Neighborhood. There are so many people there who love my boy and have created an amazing community around us since we moved here. It’s such a blessing!
