Today is Mother’s Day. This morning, we are dedicating baby Lucy to God and our community surrounding us here in California and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We dedicated Caedmon two Mother’s Days ago on the same stage. Then, tonight, we are headed to LAX to fly to Washington DC to drive down to Richmond to see Dale’s Mom. I LOVE to travel. Dale and I went all over while we were dating…we flew to Virginia, drove to Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee, and flew to San Francisco…and we loved every minute of it! We took Lucy to the doctor today for her two week check up…and she’s perfect! She hit her birth weight, 8 pounds 8 ounces, again today; that makes me happy. She’s already growing too fast. Caedmon didn’t reach his birth weight, 7 pounds and 6 ounces, until he was 8 weeks old. The doctor even measured Caedmon…he is 30 pounds and 30 inches tall and in the 25th percentile…my little [ Read More ]
